| In order to enhance the development of the PV industry and government policies, Solar Taiwan 2007, the first international solar exposition in Taiwan was successfully held in June, 2007. It was staged during the Photonics Festival in Taiwan 2007 at the Taipei World Trade Center along with sixteen domestic solar-energy-related enterprises, including the leading companies and organizations such as: E-ton Solar Tech, Motech, National Taiwan University and ITRI.
The 2007 exposition was divided into two theme areas – the “Sunshine Plaza” and the “Solar Village”. To educate the general public and demonstrate pictures of future life with PV applications, the PV Sunshine Plaza displayed PV applications in our daily life, such as the PV city, the use of the solar energy and the “green” building. Solar Taiwan 2008 has become an important event for Taiwanese Photonics Industry. For sure this exposition, targeting at diverse applications on daily life, is expected to be even bigger than that of 2007. We welcome your participation at the show. |
